At least 4 inmates were killed and 61 others were injured after fire broke out at Evin prison in Northern Tehran. This comes after as protests sparked by Mahsa Amini entered fifth week. Explosions were heard inside the prison which later turned into flames and clouds of smoke came out of the prison complex.
