The queen of the United Kingdom, Elizabeth II will celebrate her 92nd official birthday tomorrow even though the queen turned 92 on April 21 which was her actual birthday.

Every year, the queen&nbspcelebrates her birthday twice a year one is her actual birthday which is April 21 and one is her official birthday which is celebrated on every second Saturday of June.

This year the United Kingdom will mark her 92 birthday on&nbspJune 9 with Trooping the Colour parade.

The traditional parade of soldiers in ceremonial uniform in central London takes place in June every year. It usually ends with a fly-past over Buckingham Palace. Her June birthday celebrations, two months after the queen's actual birthday, are to keep with the tradition of ensuring celebrations are in the summer.

The tradition of monarch celebrating their birthdays twice in a year is going on since 1748 when King George II celebrated his birthday in June as his real birthday comes in November and due to the cold weather in that month the traditional parade can't happen.
