Two Noida policemen who were directed to lead PM Modi&#39;s convoy during his trip to Noida on Monday to inaugurate the DMRC Magenta line took a wrong turn have been suspended.&nbsp;

Sub-inspector Dilip Singh and constable Jaipal, who were in an anti-demolition vehicle were leading the cavalcade and took a wrong turn causing major security lapse.&nbsp;

Due to this, the vehicles of Modi and many other VIPs were stuck in a traffic for a few minutes at the Mahamaya flyover and a motorcycle and bus came very close to the VVIP fleet.

The cavalcade lingered there and was stuck on the expressway for 200 metres before it turned back into its original route.

A probe into an IPS officer and two DSPs has been initiated as well, as they were involved in the movement.

The security lapse took place between 2.35pm and 3pm on December 25 afternoon when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on his way to the Botanical Garden helipad from the Amity University campus.

As a result, the PM reached the helipad 10 minutes late.&nbsp;

Officials stated the entire route had been rehearsed, and there was no scope for confusion.&nbsp;

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who was present during the security breach, has reportedly given a dressing down to the officials and sought an explanation.

A detailed report is likely to be submitted to the government in the next two days.
