<p>Two of Bollywood's biggest stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to tie the knot today- 14th November at<a href="http://www.wionews.com/entertainment/preparations-begin-at-deepikapadukone-ranveer-singhs-wedding-venue-see-pic-176739"> Lake Como, Italy.</a> The couple who have been in a relationship for the last 6 years, exchanged rings on Tuesday in an intimate ceremony where mobile phones were strictly prohibited.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On Tuesday, the couple took part in Phool Muddi ceremony (a traditional Konkani engagement ceremony) which was followed by a <em>sangeet</em> and <em>Mehendi </em>ceremony in the evening. While on 14th the Konkoni wedding ceremony will take place keeping in mind Deepika's background, on 15th the couple will have north-Indian style wedding to respect Ranveer's side of family traditions. From Bollywood, only Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Farah Khan have reportedly been invited for the wedding. Deepika turns 32 on January 5th and the couple will&nbsp;reportedly be in Sri Lanka to celebrate the day.&nbsp;<br />

Deepika and Ranveer rang in the New Year with their respective families in the Maldives and now the couple will celebrate Deepika&#39;s birthday in Sri Lanka and even get engaged.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Deepika and Ranveer haven&#39;t been spotted much together in public last year and there were reports that suggested that the two had parted ways. But sources close to the couple stated that the two were very much together and photos of them holidaying also surfaced.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Deepika and Ranveer met on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali&#39;s Ram Leela, and started dating soon after. While they have never openly admitted to their relationship, both have expressed in several interviews that how important they are for each other.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It was&nbsp;a&nbsp;tumultuous 2017 for the two actors professionally, with their film <em>Padmavati </em>not getting released amid opposition from political parties and fringe groups. The film is scheduled to finally release in February 2018.&nbsp;</p>
