Prime Minister Modi has said India should celebrate its diversity.&nbsp;

Modi was speaking at a students&#39; convention in Delhi.&nbsp;

His address marked the 125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda&#39;s famous speech to the Parliament of the World&#39;s Religions in Chicago in 1893. &nbsp;

The address also&nbsp;marked the BJP ideologue Deendayal Upadhyaya&#39;s centenary celebrations.

Modi also said the world evaluates India based on where it stands today, not where it was 5,000 years ago.&nbsp;

And that India would not become modern by hiding its flaws and imperfections.&nbsp;

Speaking to the students, he added that there was no better place for creativity and innovation than in universities. 
 
Modi added that Vivekananda supported innovation and distinguished skill from knowledge, and that his government was working in the same direction.&nbsp;

Finally, he exhorted the students to keep India clean.&nbsp;

He asked them whether people had the right to chant Vande Mataram -- which is how Modi was greeted when he walked in to give his speech on Monday -- and then litter?
