<p>The Hindustan Times report added that the government has granted around 1,500 visas to Chinese nationals in recent months.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Of these, around 1,000 visas were issued to meet the requirements of the Indian electronics industry, it added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Another 1,000 visas of Chinese nationals are reportedly being processed, primarily for the electronics sector, following rigorous screening procedures.</p>

<p>The last full-fledged bilateral meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese leader Xi Jinping took place in November 2019 in Brazil during BRICS summit. Seven months later, in June 2020, the India-China ties ebbed to the lowest in decades after Galwan clash.&nbsp;</p>
