CFDA Awards: The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) hosted its annual awards night, celebrating innovation, creativity, and bold voices in fashion. From Rihanna and A$AP Rocky to top designers and emerging talents, the red carpet turned into a runway of statement looks, couture gowns, and fearless fashion moments.

<p>Jennifer Lopez made a glamorous appearance at the 2019 Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards as she was honoured with the night’s prestigious Fashion Icon Award.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The CFDA is held every year as celebrities turn up for the star-studded event celebrating the fashion industry’s leading tastemakers.</p>

<p>The 49-year-old singer-actress came dressed in a custom Ralph Lauren ensemble, featuring a turtleneck crystal embellished crop top which showed off her toned midriff. It was paired with a dramatic skirt that had a statement-making train. Both were in a vibrant saffron colour that she accessorised with 3.23-carat Harry Winston diamond link earrings and a ring.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As she took centre stage at the fashion awards, Lopez said, “I love fashion” and reflected on her origin, “Growing up in the Bronx loving fashion, to be here tonight amongst all these designers and artists and to be honoured for what I love to do anyway, it’s like a dream I am super excited.”</p>

<p>On her choice of attire, Lopez added, “I am wearing Ralph Lauren, a fellow Bronx native. It is all about the Bronx tonight!”</p>
