A BSF soldier lost his life after a <a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/pakistan-troops-fire-at-loc-posts-in-poonch-army-captain-injured-29759" target="_blank">ceasefire violation by the&nbsp;Pakistan forces</a> in the R S Pura sector of Jammu and Kashmir.&nbsp;

The firing by Pakistan troops also hit neighbouring villages injuring 3 civilians.&nbsp;

BSF soldier, A Suresh, who was killed after Pak troops opened fire&nbsp;hailed from Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu. He belonged to the 78 BN BSF security force.&nbsp;

The Pakistan forces opened fire at the Indian sector at&nbsp;around 9 pm on&nbsp;Wednesday.

The Indian soldiers retaliated&nbsp;which continued till 6 am on Thursday.&nbsp;

Keeping in view the <a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/after-firing-along-loc-india-pak-dgmos-hold-talks-29793" target="_blank">continuous ceasefire violations by the Pakistan army</a>, the district administration has asked all officers to remain in the state at the highest level of military preparedness, additional deputy commissioner of Jammu Arun Manhas said.
