Myanmar President U Min Aung Hlaing has arrived in India for a five-day official visit, beginning his tour in Bihar’s Gaya. During his visit, he offered prayers at the revered Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya, a major Buddhist pilgrimage site. The Ministry of External Affairs highlighted the visit as a step toward strengthening civilisational and cultural ties between the two neighbouring countries. The visit is expected to include high-level discussions aimed at deepening cooperation and regional engagement.
