At least five people, including two children, were reportedly killed and several others were injured after the Benapole Express was set on fire in Dhaka in prepoll violence.

Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen condemned the Benapole Express arson calling it an "unforgivable crime against humanity". Four people, including two children, died and many more were injured in the incident.
