Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the government is aiming at building 12,500 AYUSH Centres across the country.

"Out of the target of 12,500 AYUSH Centres, 10 were inaugurated today in Haryana," the Prime Minister said while addressing a programme at the AYUSH Ministry.

PM Modi said that AYUSH and Yoga are strong pillars of FIT India movement launched recently in the country.

Speaking about Ayushman Bharat Yojna, Modi said, "Under the scheme people have benefitted from free health services, if they were not covered by this scheme then they would have spent Rs 12,000 crore for their treatment. In a way, the Ayushman Bharat Scheme has saved Rs 12,000 crore of lakhs of poor people in the country.

A 21-year old student of the Delhi University (DU) was found dead on Thursday&nbsp;in the National capital.

Identified as Ayush, the&nbsp;body of the deceased was found in a drain in Dwarka.

A missing report&nbsp;was registered by his father in the Palam Village police station on March 22, when the student went missing.&nbsp;

The report mentioned that a message was sent to Ayush's father asking for a ransom of Rs 50 lakhs against his release.&nbsp;

On March 26,&nbsp;the abductor&nbsp;had sent another message asking to deliver the money near Uttam Nagar area.

A team of 30 police in civilian clothing were deployed in the area&nbsp;to grab the accused, however, he did not appear.&nbsp;

Eventually, the police recovered the body of the 21-year-old student in the drain in Dwarka sector 13 on March 28.

The police have arrested a 25-year-old resident of Uttam Nagar, Ishtiaq Ali, in connection with&nbsp;the killing of the student. The arrestee has confessed to the killing citing a wrangle with the DU student.&nbsp;

He said that he made ransom calls to divert the attention of the police.

During the investigation, the police also found that the student was a regular user of dating apps and used to meet strangers quite frequently. This input helped police in the arrest of Ishtiaq Ali.&nbsp;

The police have also traced the vehicle and mobile phone of the deceased.&nbsp;
