All the non-swadeshi products have been removed from the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) canteens, according to the orders by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). MHA had declared on May 13 that all the CAPF canteens will stop serving product that are imported from abroad, or are purely made from products which are imported, and will only sell indigenous or "swadeshi" products from June 1.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, a fire broke out at an Army Canteen in Delhi's Sadar Bazar area. The fire department was called on the spot at 9am, Delhi fire service officials said.
