Bethenny Frankel, former star of The Real Housewives of New York City, is opening up about her alleged experience of being a victim of a random attack in New York City. Her revelation comes amidst a series of violent incidents targeting women in the city.

NYPD recently made an arrest in the viral TikTok punching case after influencer Halley Kate Mcgookin reported getting hit in the face at Seventh Avenue on Monday.

The 53-year-old reality star shared her story in response to a TikTok video posted by a fashion student who claimed she was punched in the face by a random man while walking home. Frankel commented on the video, revealing that she had a similar experience a few months ago on the Upper West Side but was hesitant to speak about it.

In a TikTok video of her own, Frankel recounted the incident, stating that she was apartment hunting in the city and stopped at a bakery to record a video of the baked goods. As she was leaving, a man allegedly punched her, leaving her stunned and shaken.

Frankel expressed her shock and disbelief at the incident, noting that she initially attributed it to the city's crime rates. However, after seeing other women come forward with similar stories, she realised it was part of a concerning trend.

"So it's a crazy crime spree and I don't understand it. And I'm sorry for all the other women that it's happening to," she shared in the TikTok video. "It's to be cold-cocked, like in the street. It was wild. And I hope it's more of like a weird trend than an actual reflection of crime because it did scare me about New York City."
