During the display that lasted for about five minutes, four J-20 stealth fighter jets performed a series of aerobatic maneuvers, including speedy pull-up, diving, and spinning.

When two J-20s opened their weapon bays and&nbsp;showed full magazines of missiles, it received raucous cheers from the excited spectators.

It was the first time that&nbsp;China&nbsp;officially&nbsp;showed the jet's full internal weapons configuration.

"It's totally amazing! The biggest surprise today is that the weapon bays popped open," said a spectator.

Many aviation enthusiasts regarded the display as a tribute to the 69th founding anniversary of the Chinese&nbsp;Air&nbsp;Force.

"It's amazing, to be able to witness the rapid development of&nbsp;China's&nbsp;Air&nbsp;Force, isn't it?" said another spectator.

J-20 pilot Chen Qiqiang said after the challenging&nbsp;show&nbsp;that he could feel the maneuverability of the fighter himself when he, who is quite experienced, was piloting it.

"Its capabilities in gathering data, integrating information, striking beyond visual range, and evading radar detection, all&nbsp;show&nbsp;its advantage as a next-generation fighter. It is a sharp weapon to achieve or retain&nbsp;air&nbsp;supremacy," Chen said.

Besides J-20s, the&nbsp;Air&nbsp;Force brought some other&nbsp;aircraft from its strongest arsenal to the country's biggest&nbsp;air&nbsp;show.

While&nbsp;showing its growth, the&nbsp;Air&nbsp;Force has ambitious plans for its future.

"The overall technical level of the&nbsp;air&nbsp;force's equipment has never been so close to world-leading levels of aerospace technologies. We expect more progress in the future," said Wang Zhonghua, director of the general planning division of the Armament Department of the&nbsp;Air&nbsp;Force.

The biennial&nbsp;air&nbsp;show&nbsp;has attracted 770 exhibitors from 43 countries and regions around the world.
