<p>Former Indian naval officer, Kulbhushan Jadhav met his family on December 25 at Pakistan&#39;s Foreign Ministry office in Islamabad.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Jadhav&#39;s family returned to India that evening and met Union External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj a day later.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Ministry of External Affairs reported that Jadhav&#39;s family was <a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/killer-son-played-holi-with-blood-of-pakistanis-jadhavs-wife-mother-heckled-by-media-in-islamabad-27829">heckled and harassed</a> during their meeting with Jadhav and that the manner in which the meeting was conducted violated the terms and agreements that the two countries had agreed upon.&nbsp;</p>

<p>MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said the &quot;cultural and religious sensibilities of family members were disregarded&quot;.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Kulbhushan Jadhav faces espionage charges and was sentenced to death by Pakistan on April 10, 2017.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Jadhav&#39;s execution was halted in May 2018 after the International Court of Justice (ICJ) intervened.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The case currently rests with the world court for further action.&nbsp;</p>
