At least 29 people, including patients and health workers, were killed when ADF rebels attacked a referral health center and villages in eastern DR Congo’s North Kivu province. Local authorities recovered 23 bodies from the Byambwe health facility, with women among the dead, while buildings and homes were burned in the overnight raid.
