Economic Survey 2018-19 has been tabled in the Rajya Sabha. The Survey predicts Indian GDP to grow at the rate of 7 per cent per annum. According to the Survey, India needs to sustain a real GDP growth rate of 8% to achieve the objective of becoming a USD 5 trillion economy by 2024-25, as laid down by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
