<p>Indian wrestler Sumit Malik won the gold medal in the men's freestyle 125 kg category as his opponent, Sinivie Boltic of Nigeria was ruled out of the final due to an injury at the 21st Commonwealth Games on Saturday.</p>

<p>Among others, Rio Olympic bronze medallist Sakshi Malik went down to Aminat Adeniyi of Nigeria 3-6 in a nervous bout to end her golden dreams. She will try for bronze now also Vinesh Phogat defeated Rupinder Kaur of Australia in the 50kg freestyle to enter final.</p>

<p>Somveer defeated Australia's Jayden Lawrence 7-0 for a victory by fall in the 86kg freestyle to set up a clash for the bronze medal.</p>

<p>India so far India has claimed total 59 medal, 25 gold medals, 16 silver and 18 bronze medals.</p>

<p>On his way to the final bout, he defeated Pakistan's Tayab Raza 10-4. Also, he made an incredible comeback to win this bout against Korey Jarvis of Canada.</p>

<p>Initially, he was lagging 0-2 behind but then he came from behind to draw 3-3 with Jarvis and in the end, he flipped Jarvis to win 6-4 in the end.</p>
