Watch: Rishabh Pant takes brilliant blinder to dismiss Kolkata's Robin Uthappa

Delhi's Rishabh Pant has been in terrific form in this year's Indian Premier League (IPL). His work behind the stumps has also been applauded by many famous cricket personalities.

Pant's glovework is often compared to Team India's former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. For many, he is the perfect player to replace the Chennai skipper, once he announces his retirement.

While there have been instances when he has delivered some fine performances, there have been occasions when he was at the receiving end for his poor show behind the stumps.

However, Pant displayed applaudable wicketkeeping skills when he took a blinder to dismiss Kolkata's Robin Uthappa on Friday.

Kagiso Rabada surprised Uthappa with a bouncer and the ball took the top edge and Pant pulled off an excellent catch to dismiss him.

It was almost Deja Vu for Pant as the youngster took a similar catch to dismiss Chris Lynn when these two teams met earlier in the season.

Rabada was the bowler as he dropped the fifth delivery short and it took Lynn by surprise and he went for the pull shot. The ball took a faint edge off the gloves and went towards the keeper in a hurry.

Meanwhile, opener Shikhar Dhawan found form with a 63-ball 97 and powered Delhi to a seven-wicket win over Kolkata.
