Team India will play against New Zealand at Mumbai Arena Stadium on June 7 and all the tickets have been sold out, again

All the tickets for the Indian football team's remaining Intercontinental matches have been sold out.

On June 2, Chhetri posted a video on social networking sites and pleaded to fellow citizens to come and support the Blue Tigers at the stadiums at every possible opportunity.

Chhetri made the plea a day after his hat-trick helped India defeat Chinese Taipei side 5-0 in front of a sparse crowd at Mumbai Football Arena.

India responded to the emotional request of Sunil Chhetri and a full house stadium greeted him at Mumbai Arena Stadium. Team India is coming off from victory against Kenya in the previous match and will meet New Zealand at Mumbai Arena Stadium on June 7 and all the tickets have been sold out, again.

Thirty-three-year-old Chhetri is regarded as one of the greatest footballers that India has produced, urged the people who abuse to come to the ground and scream at them instead of taking out their anger on the social media platforms.

The appeal was also backed by India's cricket heroes Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar which helped in in a quick sale of the tickets.

India have already qualified for the finals of the first edition of Intercontinental Cup which is scheduled to take place on June 10.
