New Zealand's innings ended at 150/9 after 20 overs

Heavy showers disrupted the T20 tri-series finale as New Zealand take on Australia in the final of the T20 tri-series in Eden Park, Auckland on Wednesday.

However, the play has resumed now.

Tha Australian bowling attack finished New Zealand innings at 150/9 after 20 overs.

Despite a batsman-friendly Eden Park wicket, the Kiwis simply couldn't replicate their high-scoring antics from Friday's last-up clash between the sides.

They started well through openers Martin Guptill and Colin Munro, but collapsed to 6-93 in the 11th over.

Meanwhile, Australia's Arcy Short and David Warner have established a 55 runs partnership of mere 36 balls. The two are playing at 41 and 13 runs respectively.

Australia needs 96 more runs in 84 balls to win the T20 tri-series finale.

Australia had pulled off the highest run chase in T20 international cricket history when they chased down the target of 244 set by the New Zealand with seven balls to spare in a tri-series T20 match in the same venue last week.
