This is India's best ever rank-finish in Olympics since 1980 - check out complete standings

Russian Olympic Committee leaves the Tokyo Olympics 2020 with a total number of 71 medals (including 20 gold, 28 silver, and 23 bronze). 

They come at the fifth spot. 

Great Britain comes in the fourth spot with 65 medals. This includes 22 gold, 21 silver, and 22 bronze. 

Hosts Japan comes in at the third spot. They grabbed 58 medals in the games. They won 27 gold medals, 14 silver and 17 bronze medals. 

China was leading the list until the USA overtook them. Nevertheless, they come in second with 88 medals in their pocket (including 38 gold medals, 32 silver, 18 bronze). 

As usual, the United States of America come first in the Olympics. With a total medal of 113, they take the top spot. They won 39 gold medals, 41 silver, and 33 bronze medals. 

This is India's best-ever performance in Olympics, the Blue Army won 7 medals at the Tokyo 2020 (beating their previous best 6 - London 2012). They finish in 48th spot, which is their best-ever finish since 1980.
