Messi absent from training as Argentina prepare to take on Spain

Argentina's soccer national team trained on Saturday (March 24) at Real Madrid's sports city of Valdebebas ahead of friendly match against Spain on Tuesday (March 27) at Wanda Metropolitano stadium.

Barcelona star Lionel Messi was not seen during training session due to physical discomforts neither striker Gonzalo Higuain nor Angel di Maria.

On Friday (March 23), late goals from Ever Banega and Manuel Lanzini helped Jorge Sampaoli's side deprived of talisman Lionel Messi edge past Italy 2-0 at Manchester City's Etihad Stadium.
