Mary Kom enters Commonwealth Games semifinal

Indian Boxer champion MC Mary Kom entered women's 48-kilogram boxing competition semifinal of the 21 Commonwealth Games with the women's 48 kilograms.

The five-time world champion May Kom had a victory over Megan Gordon of Scotland on Sunday.

Mary Kom dominated her opponent throughout the match to claim a unanimous 5-0 verdict at the Oxenford Boxing studios.

Her entry into the last four stage has confirmed a bronze medal for Mary Kom.

Though Mary Kom has alreayd won five world Chmapionship gold medal, five medals in Asian Championships, bronze in Olympics and gold in Asian games but she is yet add Commonwealth games feather in her hat.

Women's boxing was first introduced in 2014 at Glasgow
