India beat Windies by 125 runs
India defeated West Indies by 125 runs in the Match 34 of Cricket World Cup 2019 in Manchester on Thursday.
Opting to bat first, India scored 268 in their allotted 50 overs and in reply to that West Indies were all-out for 143 runs.
Mohammed Shami took four wickets and Jasprit Bumrah took two to destroy Windies' batting order.
Earlier, India lost opener Rohit Sharma (18) early but Kohli (72) and opener KL Rahul (48) added 69 runs for the second wicket to steady the innings.
Hardik Pandya (46) and Dhoni (56 not out) forged the only other 50-plus partnership in the Indian innings.
Kemar Roach was the pick of the West Indies bowlers claiming 3-36. Two of his wickets came after West Indies used reviews to overturn original not-out decisions against Rohit and Kedar Jadhav.
But despite losing wickets, India put up a fighting total and successfully defended it.

Preview:
Unbeaten India will look for another victory to keep their winning momentum high when they compete against West Indies at Old Trafford in Manchester.
While West Indies will look to finish on a high after being knocked out despite a great start against Pakistan. Andre Russell being ruled out due to a hamstring injury has been another big blow.
However, the team, especially the fast bowling department, has shown tremendous potential including the young bumper-happy fast bowling duo of Sheldon Cotterell and Oshane Thomas.
Jasprit Bumrah's opening spell against Gayle may set the tone while the talented duo of Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer will be asked a few questions by Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Carlos Brathwaite was tremendous against New Zealand but he has never been comfortable against the slow bowlers as he loves the length deliveries on the slot.
With Kohli and his deputy Rohit Sharma being superb horizontal bat players, it promises to be a mouth-watering contest if they employ the short-ball tactic.
