As it happened:
What a match... have not seen anything like this in years...
India struggled but fought back to defeat Afghanistan by 11 runs, credit goes to the bowling unit.
Virat Kohli's side, one of the favourites to win the tournament, posted just 224-8 from their 50 overs..
Afghanistan, who had lost their previous five games, made a brave effort to chase down the target.
But they eventually fell just short of a stunning upset thanks to pace bowler Shami, who took the last three wickets in the space of three balls in the final over to move unbeaten India closer to the semi-finals.

After watching yesterday's match between Sri Lanka and England I am expecting more such intriguing contests.
Will it happen today as well?

26.1 | Wicket
Vijay Shankar departs after scoring 29 runs.
Rahmat Shah to Shankar, lbw out.
Out is the signal but Shankar reviewed on-field umpire's decision.
It was pitching in line and hitting the leg stumps. However, it was umpire's call as almost 30 per cent of ball was not hitting the stumps so India retained the review.
Next batsman is MS Dhoni.

Preview:
India's star-studded line-up could well break a few batting records when they face Afghanistan.
This match could provide Kohli with an opportunity to promote Kedar Jadhav up the order as he is one batsman in the line-up, who has played only eight balls over three completed matches.
India would need Kedar's batting on days when the top order might not click and Afghanistan gives the team management the best opportunity to give him quality match time.
Ditto for India's bowling, which is being touted as the most balanced in the competition.
Bhuvneshwar hobbled out with a stiff left hamstring after bowling only 16 deliveries against Pakistan. That hardly mattered as all-rounders Vijay Shankar and Hardik Pandya did the star turn with the ball.
Against Afghanistan, Mohammed Shami will get his first game in the tournament and his pace and movement could be more than a handful for the likes of Hazratullah Zazai, Hashmatullah Shahidi or Asghar Afghan.
The inexperienced Afghans may find Kuldeep Yadav or Yuzvendra Chahal's craft too hot to handle.
However, a spirited show against India will certainly boost Afghanistan's confidence and some competitive edge to one-sided contests, which have taken some sheen off the global meet.
