IPL 2024: Virat Kohli hilariously interrupts Shubman Gill's captaincy during RCB's big win over GT - Watch

In match 45 of the IPL 2024 edition, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) beat Gujarat Titans (GT) by nine wicketsin pursuit of 201 at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday (April 28). Opting to bowl first, Faf du Plessis-led RCB didn't get a lot of breakthroughs as Shubman Gill & Co. rode on Sai Sudharsan's 84 not out and Shahrukh Khan's 58 (30) to post 200 for 3. In reply, RCB chased down the score in the 16th over itself with Will Jacks slamming a breathtaking 41-ball 100* and Virat Kohli's 44-ball 70*. During the chase, Kohli was in his element and even hilariously interrupted Gill's captaincy.

During GT's innings, Kohli wasstationed near the boundary ropes, next to the home side's dugout, and was also seen walking up to Gill and having a few friendly interactions with the youngster.

Talking about RCB's second successive win, they now have6 points in 10 matches but continue to remain at the bottom. GT, on the other hand, are now at the seventh spot with 8 points up their sleeves after an equal number of games.
