
Rajasthan Royals (RR) have continued their impressive away form in the Indian Premier League (IPL)beating Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by seven wickets in Lucknow on Saturday (April 27). Batting second against LSG, Sanju Samson and Dhruv Jurel were the chief architects of the Rajasthan Royals win as both ended with unbeaten fifties. The win also sees RR on the brink of official playoff qualification as they now eye a top-two spot to guarantee two opportunities to reach the IPL 2024 final in Chennai.
Needing 197 runs to win in Lucknow, RR made a bright start with Yashasvi Jaiswal (24) and Jos Buttler (34) stitching a 60-run stand for the opening wicket.Oncethey were dismissed,it wasSanju Samson (unbeaten 71) and Jurel (unbeaten 52)wholed from the front to win RR another away match in the ongoing season.Riyan Paraginbetweenplayed a 14-run knockbutit was the Samson-Jurel partnership thatlaid the foundation for the win.
