Chennai Super Kings (CSK) registered their first home defeat of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season on Tuesday (April 23) after they lost to Lucknow Super Giants in a tight contest. The match will go down into record books for tons from Ruturaj Gaikwad and MarcusStoinis who saw the away side win by six wickets.Amidst all this,it wasthe former CSK captain MS Dhoniwhodid not fail to make the headlines after he was spotted in the dressing room trying to throw a bottle at the camera person.

Dhoni goes viral

In a video that has gone viral on the internet, Dhoni, preparing to come out tobatwas seen with a bottle in the hand in the dressing room. The camera person snapped the CSK legend in the dressing when the score was 161/3 in 16.4 overswithRuturaj Gaikwad and Shivam Dube stitching a 60-run stand until that point. However, despite the two players in the middle taking the applause, the camera person got Dhoni in the spotlight.

In response,Dhoni responded by trying to throw his bottle and instead hinted to the camera person to focus on the batters in the middle.

What happened in the match?

In another high-scoring affair in IPL 2024, LSG did a league double over CSK despite Gaikwad’s unbeaten 108. Marcus Stoinis, without a central contract with Australia, scored an unbeaten 124 off 63 balls to register a famous win for LSG. The last-over thriller condemned CSK to their first home defeatof the season, leaving the race for playoff spots wide open.Thiswas LSG’s second win over CSK in the season, having alsogotten the better of them in the previous match.
