IPL 2023, 27 days to go: The most-watched cricket tournament of the world, the Indian Premier League or IPL, is just 27 days away now! The first match of the league will be played on 31st March between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, top cricketer and former Indian captain MS Dhoni joined the CSK camp on Friday to kick off the official preparations.

During the auction earlier this year, the team placed its bets on Ben Stokes, the captain of England's Test team, and Kyle Jamieson, the New Zealand pacer. But, the tall Kiwi fast bowler might not play in the competition because of an old back-injury problem. A replacement for Jamieson would be chosen following discussions with Dhoni, according to CSK insiders.

Together with Gujarat Titans, Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Royal Challengers Bangalore, CSK is placed in Group B of the IPL 2023. Group A includes the Lucknow Super Giants, Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, and Rajasthan Royals.
