India beat Malaysia to win Asia Cup final

India beat Malaysia 2-1 to win the Asia Cup hockey championshipin Dhaka on Sunday.

India regained the cup after 10 years.

Goals by Ramandeep Singh (3rd minute) and Lalit Upadhyay (29th) clinched the series for India.

Hockey players SV Sunil and Ramandeep Singh combined to give India the lead.

Yesterday, India continued their unbeaten run in the tournament after a 4-0 victory over arch-rivals Pakistan in the Super 4s match to book their berth in the summit showdown.
