Virat Kohli hit a century as India reached 404-3 at lunch to lead Sri Lanka by 199 runs on day three of the second Test in Nagpur on Sunday.
Overnight batsmen Kohli, batting on 123, and Cheteshwar Pujara put on 183 to compound Sri Lanka's misery after the home side started the day on 312-2.
Pujara was finally bowled by paceman Dasun Shanaka for 143 a little before the break. Ajinkya Rahane had joined skipper Kohli at the crease.
