Bengaluru based Army Public School won theFC Bayern Youth Cup India title and is all set to represent India atAllianz Arena, Munich for the FC Bayern Munich Youth Cup World Finals.
Army Public Schooldefeated Mumbai-based Campeon School 4-1 in an enthralling 30-minute match.
Former French legend Bixente Lizarazu was present at the final of the tournament when Army school defeatedCampeon School.
He praised the young Indian talents and also mentioned that such initiatives would promote football in India by inspiring youth to take part in the sport.
FC Bayern Youth Cup India is one of the key initiatives taken to promote and nurture grassroots football in India.
The FC Bayern Munich Youth Cup World Finals will be held at the iconic Allianz Arena, Munich, in May 2018.
