The match however is proving to be a statistician's delight, when it comes to Dhoni.
Apart from the fact that this will be his 300th one-day international, Dhoni is also one stumping away from the 100 mark in ODIs.
Should he get there, he will have set a new world record.
He already shares the current world record with Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara.
The other world record he could set is for the highest number of not-outs.
He currently has 72 to his name, level with Shaun Pollock and Chaminda Vaas.
