
Achanta Sharath and Gnanasekaran Sathiyan settled for a silver medal after losing to England's Paul Drinkhall and Liam Pitchford 2-3 (5-11, 12-10, 11-9, 6-11, 8-11) in the finals of men'sdoubles table tennis match at the 21st Commonwealth Gameson Saturday.
The duo made several errors while serving also Sharath missed a few regulation shots that resulted in their loss.
Another duo Harmeet Desai and Sanil Shankar Shetty bagged the bronze medal in the same competition. The duo outplayed Singapore's Pang Yew En Koen and Poh Shao Feng Ethan 3-0 (11-5, 11-6, 12-10)
