Apurvi Chandela won a bronze in the women's air rifle category.

17-year-old Mehuli Ghosh won a silver medal in the air rifle event at the Commonwealth Games on Monday.

It was Mehuli's maiden medal at the CWG which she grabbed in a shoot-off.

Apurvi Chandela won a bronze in the women's air rifle category. The ace shooter had won a gold in the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games earlier.

The gold medal was won by Singapore's Martina Veloso.

Earlier the day, Indian men's team member Jitu Rai won gold in 10 meters air pistol event with Om Mitharwal bagging the bronze. Jitu created a new CWG record of 235.1 in the final to win the gold.
