Commonwealth Games: Wrestler Babita Phogat settles for silver in 53 kg category

Wrestler Babita Phogat settled for a silver medal at the 21st Commonwealth Games as she lost in the finals by Canada's Diana Weicker on Thursday.

Babita had clinched a gold medal in at Glasgow in 2010 but failed to replicate the same as Diana Weicker defeated her 2-5 in the 53 kg category.

She opened India's account in the wrestling competition.

So far India has earned twelve gold medals, six silver and eight bronze medals.
