A blast in Dera Ismail Khan, northwest Pakistan has claimed three lives. The victims were all police personnel. Two people have been injured in the incident that took place on Friday evening.
According to reports, a police vehicle was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED) in northwest Pakistan yesterday when the officials were on a routine patrolling duty.
The injured were rushed to the nearest hospital. District Police Officer, Zahidullah remained unhurt in the blast.
The incident occurred on Kolachi road in Dera Ismael Khan district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, bordering South Waziristan Agency when the squad of District Police Officer (DPO) was on a routine evening duty.
