In his maiden speech to the nation, PM Imran Khan had lashed out at Nawaz Sharif's PML-N government on Sunday blaming it for Pakistan's debt crisis
The newly-elected prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan today inducted a 21-member cabinet in his governmentas his ministers took oathof office. The cabinet comprises sixteen federal ministers and five advisers.
The ministers were administered the oath by President Mamnoon Hussain at Presidents House.
According to reports, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, former Pakistan's People's Party(PPP) leader will be the new foreign minister while ex-CM of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province Pervaiz Khattak will be the new defence minister.
Imran's party Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) which has tied up with Independents and other parties in a coalition government has also inducted other leaders in the cabinet. Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Sheikh Rashid has been given the railway portfolio.
Fawad Chaudhry will take over as the Information minister with Pak senator Farogh Naseem taking over the Justice ministry, Pakistan media reported.
Shireen Mazari has been given the important Ministry of Human Rights.

He called upon people of Pakistan to team up with him to eradicate poverty, improve health-care system, provide proper nutrition to children.
