The Bombay High Court granted bail Tuesday to Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur who is accused of plotting the September 2008 bomb blasts in Malegaon, Maharashtra.

Seven people died in the blasts, and over a 100 injured.

Lt Colonel Shrikant Purohit, also accused in the case, was denied bail.

The duo have been in jail for over eight years now.

Sadhvi Pragya and Purohit were arrested in a little after the blasts and accused of plotting the blasts as part of a Hindu militant group, Abhinav Bharat.
