Four militants were killed on Monday as the Indian Army foiled an infiltration bid in Keran sector in Kupwara district of the Indian state of Jammu adn Kashmir.
A defence spokesman told PTI that a group of militants tried to infiltrate from across the Line of Control (LoC), the military control line between India and Pakistan, in the Keran sector but the troops foiled their bid.
They were killed in the subsequent exchange of fire.
Search operations are still on in the area.
