Pak elections: Imran wins in Lahore, Islamabad; PTI makes major gains in Punjab

In Punjab's Shekhupura, PTI candidate Rahat Amanullah beat his PML-N rival narrowly winning 12, 6025 votes
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) chief Imran Khan has won his National Assembly seat from Lahore in Mianwali quite handsomely, Pakistani media reports said.
The cricketer-turned-politician won the seat after garnering 127,530 votes, beating his nearest rival PML-N candidate Abdullah Khan who won just 49,532 votes.
Imran Khan also won the Islamabad 2 seat with 92,891 votes beating former Pakistan PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi who won 44,314 votes.
Imran is also fighting from threeother seats - Bannu, Lahore and Karachi.
Reports said Imran's PTI is on a wave in Punjab-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa area which has beena Sharif stronghold for decades.
In Punjab's Shekhupura, PTI candidate Rahat Amanullah beat his PML-N rival narrowly winning 12, 6025 votes against his rival who won 10,3572 votes.
In Abbottabad which belongs to eastern Khyber Pakhtunkhw area, PTI candidate Ali Khan Jadoon was declared the winner with 11,2360 votes against his rival PML-N's Mahabat Khan who won 89,112 votes.
PTI also gained the Rajanpur seat in Punjab province with PTI candidate Sardar Nasrullah winning against Independent candidate Hafeezur Rehman with over 16,000 votes.
In Kurram which is a district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, PPP candidate Sajid Toor won the seat beating Independent candidate Syed Irshad Hussain by over 5,000 votes.
