Afghanistan: Blast in Kabul, at least 10 killed

A suicide attack hit Kabul on Thursday evening.

Kabul's Tolo News network said at least 10 people were killed in the explosion.

A Reuters reporter saw a police vehicle carrying dead or wounded security personnel, in an area close to a police operation.

Officials and witnesses told Reuters that the blast caused heavy casualties among security personnel.

Tolo News quoting emergency hospital sources said almost 20 wounded were brought to the facility after the explosion.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack which occurred in a crowded area.
