Actor Dilip Kumar discharged from Mumbai hospital

Legendary Indian actor Dilip Kumar was today (August 9) discharged from hospital, a little more than a week after he was hospitalised for kidney-related ailments.

Dilip saab, 94, was accompanied by his wife Saira Banu, family friends and doctors as he emerged from Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital.

Saira Banu, a former actress, hugged and kissed the actor on his cheek before asking him to wave to the waiting fans.

In a post on the actor's official page Twitter page, Saira Banu thanked the actor's well-wishers for their support

Dilip Kumar was hospitalised last Wednesday.
