Now send original resolution pictures with updated WhatsApp

WhatsApp has enabled new changes to its app upgrading the widely used messaging platform. The new feature will allow users to share photos without compressing them. This will retain the original resolution of the picture unlike before. The users will also be able to view their pictures and videos in the in-app camera by just swiping up.

The feature will also update the text in the app turning them bold, italicise or strikethrough with a single tap and hold.

WhatsApphas also changed its file sharing feature letting the users share any kind of document. According to a report in Engadget, the new feature will be able to share files up to 100MB size. However, rumours were spread out claiming iPhone users can send files bigger than the usual ones. Before the new feature was rolled out, WhatsApp allowed the sharing of PDF files only.
