BMW 5 series and Apple Car play

BMW’s new 5 Series will be the first car to get wireless CarPlay support. Drivers can now conveniently use a compatible iPhone when travelling in a BMW car. This allows smartphone content, along with functions such as music, iMessages/text messages, telephony, Siri and selected third-party apps, to be displayed and operated in the regular manner, even via the vehicle's user interface. 

This is Apple Inc's first step into the automobile industry.

Home Pod

This week, apple has launched home pod, which is the company's venture into the the speaker technology. 

The reception to this new product is yet to be known, however, this is understood that it aims to revolutionise the loud-speaker industry too.

Apple Watch

Apple watches were launched as a range of smart and fitness watches which incorporated health monitor applications. 

Smart watches as well as the fitness watches were already in the market, but being a part of a brand that had already made a name for itself, these watches too quickly became a best-selling wearble device due to its easily accessible softwae and design. 

iPad

Ever since the iPad was launched, it has been going ahead of the pc industry, the windows industry, and is now replacing books and manuals too. 

iPads came as an alternative to desktops, though it has not been so succesful in this aim.

iPhone

In June, iPhone was launched into the market which has been the ultimate revolution in the mobile industry. 

iPhone brought the concept of multi-touch, got rid of the QWERTY keyboard and even brought prominent gaming options on phones.

iPhone had come into the market with a completely new and friendly software design. 

Apple TV

In Jan, Apple Inc launched the Apple TV, which was a small box that connected to the home wireless network and brought the magic of Internet video to the TV.

It revolutionised the television industry and bridged the gap between normal and smart televisions. 

Macbook

In May, Apple Inc launched Macbook, which aimed at reforming the laptop industry with its slim and fast technology. 

The Macbook had replaced the iBook series in 2006 and was out of production from 2012 till 2015.

iTunes and iPod

In january, iTunes was launched into the internet space, which challenged the music landscape forever. 

 As digital started to grow, it allowed producers to get paid more promptly, and promoted singles and independent artists. 

In November, with the launch of iPod, the Apple Inc. disrupted the walkman industry, and set a landmark for the world to achieve.
