Venice Film Festival's opening ceremony was all about daring & stunning outfits; take a look

Jodie Turner-Smith is a fashion icon! Smith made sure to turn heads on the first day of the much-awaited Venice Film Festival. The diva attended the opening ceremony of the 79th edition of the prestigious film festival and the screening of Adam Driver's film 'White Noise'.

Smith was looking breathtaking in a sheer black gown by Gucci, which she paired with green gloves and shiny green emerald jewellery.
 

Tessa Thompson dazzled in a silver and black outfit. The Hollywood actress attended the screening of the film 'White Noise' in a Armani Privé dress with strapless silver top with asymmetrical turns at the end and silver embroidery. The top was paired with black sequin pencil skirt. 

Tesso completed her look with black sunglasses, silver diamond jewellery and sleek black heels from Giuseppe Zanotti.

Mariacarla Boscono showed up wearing the hottest dress of the evening. Italian model slayed at the carpet in a Jean Paul Gaultier's daring black ruffle dress with a very short trail and baring top. Boscono wore a skin-colour half corset inside the sheer dress.

She completed her look with a high-winged eye liner and a sleek ponytail.  

Alessandra Ambrosio was looking hot chic in a pink flowy dress by Ermanno Scervino. Her strapless dress with thigh-high front slit showed off her toned legs and fabric flowers on her dress were taking her dress look more attractive. 

Mélanie Laurent looked stunning in a Gucci pastel colour gown with long trails flawing straight from her shoulders and it also had a light green inner. 

Greta Ferro walked the Vanice red carpet in a daring black gown with sheer top and heavy velvet skirt. Armani Privé designed gown had a full-sleeved baring top with only pocket like patches that covered her chest. 

Greta Gerwig was a epitome of glamour and elegance. The director and actress walked in a black velvet gown with a deep front. She tied her hair up in a bun, which put her diamond necklace more in spotlight. 

As always, Rege Jean Page slayed with his killer looks and black tux. The 'Grey Man' actor walked the red carpet in a black tux paired with white shirt and black bow.
