Shah Rukh Khan and his biggest controversies: From his rumoured affairs to famous feuds

IN 2012, Shah Rukh Khan, the co-owner of the IPL team, was banned by the Mumbai Cricket Association for five years from entering the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai, India. 

Khan was accused of misbehaving with the stadium staff with abusive language after they stopped Khan's children to play on the ground. 

Shah Rukh Khan welcomed his third and youngest child AbRam with his wife Gauri in 2013 via surrogacy. Soon after the announcement, Khan and his wife Gauri were accused that they conducted the pre-natal sex determination test. The investigation was carried out against the couple, however, later SRK condemned all the reports.

 “I did not like that fact when the media spoke about surrogacy. I hate it. They said I had s*x determination test, which was rubbish. I am too educated to be indulging in this non-sense. He was suffering… He was ill and people were talking about s*x determination just because he is the child of a famous movie star.” SRK said in an interview. 

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan are the star couples to whom every young couple looks up to, but when SRK and Priyanka's romance rumours took the world by storm, everyone was shocked!

Both A-listers were very close pals and their movies were working good, but after these rumours, Khan and Priyanka started ignoring each other in front of the public and later sources confirmed that the close pals are not on talking terms now. 

Not one but two times, Shah Rukh Khan was detained at the international airport. First, in the year 2009, he was stopped at New Jersey airport because of his last name Khan.

And, the second time, he was stopped at New York airport.

Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are on good terms now, but there was a time when both Salman and Shah Rukh were embroiled in an ugly fight and the whole world was knowing that. Both stars have never shared what led to this big feud but some reports suggest they had a big fight on Katrina Kaif's birthday in 2008, from where it all started. 

In 2015, when some high-profile figures were returning the prestigious awards in the country as a protest against the intolerance, and amid this Shah Rukh Khan on a public platform agreed that India is an ‘intolerance’ country. 

''There is intolerance, there is extreme intolerance, There is, I think, there is growing intolerance, he said via BBC. His comments created a furore across the country and faced major backlash over people asking to ban his films. 

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's 'extreme intolerance’ remark created a huge controversy, and while he was coping with all of it, another controversy took the headlines when he got an invitation from Hafiz Saeed, the leader of the banned terrorist group Jamat ud-Dawah, to leave his motherland and come and settle in Pakistan.
