Katy Perry says she’s ready to let go of her long-standing feud with Taylor Swift saying, “I forgive her (Swift) and I’m sorry for anything I ever did.”
"I am ready to let it go," Perry said in a global podcast on Saturday to promote her new album Witness.
"I forgive her (Swift) and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her. I love her, and I want the best for her. And I think she’s a fantastic songwriter," Perry added.
The beef between the two pop star began in 2014 over a conflict with their tour backup dancers. The same year, Swift released her single Bad Bloodwhich is believed to be about Perry.
Perry followed up by singing the unforgettable song “Let It Go” from the Disney film Frozen.
"There's a lot of other things out there in the world that people need to be focused on," Perry said. "God bless her on her journey. God bless her. Honestly."
