The exit polls say the BJP, which had a 48% vote share in the last election, is losing 2% vote share. The Congress on the other hand is gaining 2% vote share.

Today's Chanakya says the Patels -- despite Hardik -- have shown strong support for the BJP, with a 54% vote share of the Patels going to the party. Patels make up 12% of the population, while 51% of Gujarat's population is OBC.
